• cars 2When the UK government launched its Decarbonisation and energy efficiency roadmap 2050 project – working with the UK’s eight most energy intensive manufacturing industries, including glass – British Glass saw an opportunity to develop a new type of relationship with policy makers. Widely respected for its expertise in high-end aluminium glazing products, Fenster was approached by programme-makers and asked to supply a premium-quality sliding door. Part of the reason for the surge in enquiries is that Euroglaze’s website currently ranks on page 1 of Google searches for REHAU frames. This is attributed to the fact that the company’s web partner has updated the website’s architecture, switched the security protocols and kept pace with Google’s changing algorithms on SEO. We’ve been determined to create a more productive conversation and shared vision for improving competitiveness through decarbonisation and energy efficiency – and to get people on all sides to understand one another and be ready to play their part.
