• care conceptThis innovative, hexagonal shaped bottle has been designed for experimental super premium whiskey. These extra white flint glass bottles have been manufactured by Allied Glass. The black-tie awards ceremony was held on 15 June at the Royal Armouries in Leeds, at the centre of the country’s great east-west glass manufacturing corridor – where nine out of ten of the UK’s largest glass manufacturers have production sites. Commenting on the recent renovations, Ms Stephens said: “I am absolutely delighted with the work that has been carried out and Dortech’s customer service and professional installation has been second to none. When the UK government launched its Decarbonisation and energy efficiency roadmap 2050 project – working with the UK’s eight most energy intensive manufacturing industries, including glass – British Glass saw an opportunity to develop a new type of relationship with policy makers. Replacing hardwood windows with aluminium took careful consideration, but the PURe® System looks fantastic and from a performance perspective, it has considerably surpassed my expectations. In fact we now intend to replace all of the windows in the house with PURe® windows!”
