The whiskey was inspired by masters and apprentices working together at the new Midleton micro-distillery, one of the oldest and most iconic distilleries in the world. The brand combines tradition and innovation to convey a sense of fun and excitement. It uses two opposing patterns throughout the packaging. The straight lines symbolise method and order and the stunning marbled patterns reference madness and liquid experimentation. The UK glass industry is pursuing an active programme on energy efficiency and decarbonisation. But building the business case to secure funds remains a barrier. Capital costs can be very high and paybacks periods are often in excess of two years; traditional loans are usually unattractive for this work. “We’re very proud of the way that the glass industry has come together to face the challenge of energy efficiency and decarbonisation - which will continue to define all manufacturing and markets for the coming decades. Fabricated and installed by Dortech Architectural Systems Ltd, Senior’s patented PURe® aluminium folding sliding doors feature as part of a stunning extension to Ms Stephen’s home. Offering slim sightlines that maximise views of the property’s pretty garden, the narrow yet robust aluminium frames of the PURe® doors have been powder-coated to provide an attractive brown finish that further complements and connects with the outdoor space. To complete the stylish extension, a number of the property’s existing hardwood windows have also been sympathetically replaced. Tasked with identifying a system that could match the visual appeal of the original wooden frames whilst offering improved quality, usability and security, the Dortech team took the innovative step of suggesting a change to aluminium. After reviewing alternative products on the market, Senior’s high quality PURe® aluminium windows were found to significantly outperform cheaper aluminium systems and offer the perfect solution in terms of both performance and aesthetics.
